GWA Waste-lock
Waste bins are equipped with locks and RFID readers such that user identification is required prior to disposing of waste. In this way it is possible to track how much waste is produced by each user and allows charging a fee for only the amount that is thrown away, known as Pay-As-You-Throw principle. MOBA has been offering RFID access control for waste locks since 1994.
