MCE Lasers have unveiled their latest standalone heavy duty electric mast system ME.14, giving customers flexibility when setting up machine control on their earthmoving machines. The system comprises of a heavy duty mast with shock cradle, in-cab display panel with large numeric LCD. The system can either act standalone or be integrated with an MCE machine control system. The system was designed so that customers could add and enjoy the benefits of an electric mast to their existing receiving system without going through the added expense of replacing the entire receiving system. MCE Lasers also saw a growing market of customers who had receiving systems from Topcon, Leica and Spectra physics who’s electric mast stopped working and needed a quick and reliable replacement yet cost effective
The ME.14 system now joins the already successful ME.12 electric mast system giving customers even more flexibility with a system that will suit both in price and functionality. The ME.14 in-cab display panel hosts a number of impressive features; the systems numeric display can be zeroed at any time and up to 4 separate values can be saved and accessed at a later stage. The Electric mast will also automatically adjust to the saved pre-sets when selected. The ME.14 has a stroke (lift) of 900mm making the systems minimum height 1750mm and maximum height 2650mm when fully extended.

At Bauma 2010, MCE Lasers will be displaying their complete range of laser levels, machine control, pipe-laying lasers, tunnel lasers and measuring instruments. The MCE product suite, with its Australian heritage, has been perfected for precise laser alignment in harsh operating environments.
The Bauma 2010 exhibition also marks the launch of a new MCE Lasers brand – the ROTEC range. The ROTEC range of precision rotary laser levels has been specially developed for use in building, construction area, concreting, and plastering suspended ceilings installation .
Three ROTEC models are being launched at Bauma:
The LS.RH – an auto self-leveling, horizontal rotary laser level. The LS.RH is designed for general construction sites or where a horizontal plane is required.
The LS.RHV – an auto self-leveling, horizontal / vertical rotary laser level. The LS.RHV is designed for general construction sites, suspended ceiling installation and where a horizontal / vertical plane is required.
The LS.RHVG – a green beam, auto self-leveling, horizontal / vertical rotary laser level. The LS.RHVG is designed to suit suspended ceiling installation and where a horizontal / vertical plane is required. MCE Lasers’ green beam lasers offer four times the visibility of a traditional red beam laser.
All lasers in the ROTEC range include full automatic self-leveling with manual grade mode. Each laser can be tailored for use with a range of MCE Lasers accessories, including the new millimetre receiver, which provides easy measurement of level differences between the laser beams hitting point and reference marking notch. This new receiver is reliable, robust and absolutely waterproof.
Other new MCE Lasers innovations to be displayed at Bauma 2010 include a new pipelaser series, continuing MCE’s tradition of superior precision and accuracy, and the world’s first Mini Tilt Compensated Machine Receiver.
